Hi Emma! I so enjoy looking at this picture of your snowmen … near and far. You have made them so stylish in their their knitted hats, carrot-striped noses and their big eyes and smile. I wonder in what area of the country they are located, as we have yet to see our first "snowman-making" weather. Hope to get some of the white "fluff" soon so all you kiddos are able to get out and build your snow friends and get some time on the sledding slopes. Keep up the good work! Love,

What a cute one-eyed monster you have created, Emma. This imaginary monster is not only colorful but quite symmetrical. Your monster has exactly similar parts on both sides and all her parts are in proportion to her size. This is great work. Can't wait to see what creativity awaits us. Love you.

God Bless America, Emma!! This piece of artwork shows it all. The mountains, the desert and the ocean … all part of God's masterpiece. I've experienced the beauty of all these wonders. But, can you guess which one is my favorite. I know you have enjoyed these beautiful sights on many of your vacations … swimming in the ocean, witnessing the majestic mountains in Utah and the barren deserts out West. Which one is your favorite? Can't wait to have a conversation with you about this beautiful picture. Love you.

Beautiful and delicious looking cakes! MmMm good. Are you going to be a baker someday? Looking at these lovely cake designs I do believe you have the talent and creativity to become an artist doing other things ... not just on paper, I mean. I will be the first person to indulge in your sweet treats. Can't wait. Love you.

Emma, I love this picture of Russian nesting dolls. I believe I see a resemblance to a family I love so much. I think I recognize the hair on the second doll. Is that your Daddy? Good work. You did a great job of sizing all your little people. They nest inside each other perfectly, I bet. Did Mommy tell you she played with a set of nesting dolls when she was a little girl? She had so much fun. Love you.

Hi Emma. I'm not quite sure what this picture is representing. However, it is quite interesting to me. I notice there are three views of one hand with one of the other. Or, is it the same hand reversed? Is there any meaning to this? I would be interested to know. You do such great work. I look forward to seeing what you do next. Love you.

Lovely hand and forearm, Emma. The monochromatic color scheme accentuating this artwork is unique. I see that it contains different shades of one color. You have done a great job in drawing and using your imagination in what appears to be a glove on your hand with your initial in the center. Beautiful artistry!! Love You.

Emma, what an unusual self portrait this is. As noted the title of your artwork is "Klee Self Portrait". I looked up who "Klee" was and found him to be a very unusual artist. So, I'm guessing that is why this picture is so unusual. I'm sure if Artist Klee were to do your portrait it would look just like this. Emma, this is a very unusual and creative picture. I love it … and you.

Hi Emma! This picture is just beautiful. The colors of this tree are so typical of our autumn season when the leaves on the trees begin to turn a beautiful yellow/orange/gold color and then fall to the ground for a good raking!! You are a great artist, Emma. Keep on working hard. Love you.

Emma, this is the most creative pumpkin I have ever seen. How did you think to draw this beautiful piece of artwork. It is so colorful and unique. I bet if you designed one for Halloween next year you would have everyone talking about your creativity and attention to detail. I want one, please!! You are amazing. Love you.

Hi Emma!! What a great portrait of the polar bear. He is certainly suggestive of the weather we should be expecting soon -- cold. The bear you drew for me at the house looks just like this one and now I know how you learned to draw it … your art class. Keep up the good work. Love you.

This looks like a Merry Christmas, Jesus, scene. It appears that you did many artistic things to make this Nativity picture so beautiful. You are so creative and neat in all the work you do. I'm sure Jesus would have been so proud to have a bed like this to sleep in. He loves us all so very much. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see your next work of art. Love you.

Brr, Brr!! Emma this is a great picture of a winter wonderland. These cute snowmen (or are they snowladies?) look perfectly happy nestled among the trees. Are you this happy when we get all this snow? Not me!! Great imagination here. Love you.

Hi Emma! I love doughnuts so if your Daddy thinks these are doughnuts I bet they are quite tasty. They are so colorful and look quite inviting to eat. Don't forget to save one for Uncle Joey because policemen and policewomen love doughnuts. Love you.

Who is this in this beautiful portrait? I think it might be you, Emma! Those bright blue eyes and big smile give away the secret. I didn't even have to look at the name on the picture. Have fun in your Art class. And, keep on working hard.

Emma, you are so clever!! Who would have ever thought to make a tree with their hand and foot prints. And, it is so nicely colored. This is amazing. Did you think of this idea? I love it.

Holy Cow, Emma. This is a beautiful Macaw. I believe this long-tailed macaw may also be called a parrot. He is so colorful ... just like looking at a rainbow. You are a wonderful artist. Keep up the good work.

Hi Emma!! I saw the notation that this is a picture of a young girl on a windy day. Is this you on a windy day? It looks like your beautiful long, brown hair. I hope she doesn't forget to comb it when she gets back inside. Love, NaNa
