This is a really great self portrait! My favorite part is how you did your blue-green eyes. I understand exactly what you did there and it's a perfect way to express it! Michael, I LOVE this picture!! I think it is my new FAVORITE!! What a great idea to use your handprints and footprint to make the tree. It is a beautiful, tall, strong looking tree that you made. I really love the grass and the sky. You captured the different shades of blue in the sky, and there is a sense of the energy of nature moving around and with your tree. I can feel a breeze blowing, the soft gentle grass, and sturdy earth below. WOW! Thank you for sharing this lovely piece of your artwork! LOVE IT! -- Mommy
