Catherine's love of Lindsey Stirling truly shines in this piece. You can imagine Catherine staying up at night watching dubstep violin videos on youtube. She listens to catchy beats and twirls like a ballerina to the haunting music while the family tries to sleep. An ode to today's pied piper (or violiner) rendered in visual medium, we can only hope that Ms. Stirling's performances do not hide an ulterior motive. A hope that may be in vain as the violin leads our young children to their doom.

Catherine's testament to capitalism is a sight to behold. The use of slaughtered zebra skins to create this design encourages the exploitation of endangered species. Splashes of pink bring a bright horror to the piece, evoking the pools of blood left behind after widespread extermination.

Catherine has challenged the senses with this splash of color. The reds, oranges, pinks, and purples just swirl and bring to mind flashes of anger. The artist's racing mind and emotional instability is apparent for all to see. I pity the person who is the target of her wrath.

How dare someone try to put a price on genius. At $1000 this is a steal for a masterpiece by Catherine. The cut and paste techniques of this master make the monster appear to leap from the wall. These teeth snapping at the viewer's face ready to devour you are scenes out of early mans' collective terror. This primal reaction reaches across the eons and helps us connect with our ancestors. Bravo Catherine...Another terror inducing piece...Bravo!

The artist is obviously channeling Vincent Van Gogh. The evil squirrel looming over the town is planning ominous future events while the innocent townspeople sleep below. The swirling colors provide a soothing precursor to the terror and bloodshed to come. Our concern for the twisted mind that produces evil like this cannot be stated enough. Dad

Cathrine has turned her vision to the way mankind celebrates our relationship with God through use of architecture. The vibrant color represent the myriad of colors of people that the Lord put on this Earth. The crosses are placed towards the top of piece to draw attention to heaven. Catherine's work continues to inspire and challenge us at the same time,

Catherine again shows her versatility as an artist by following up her last dark work with this cheerful montage on the happiness of a nuclear family. Everyone from the father and mother with their crowns to the children are beaming with joy. The positioning of every person's face to be visible to the viewer indicates that every member is important. The use of pink throughout is light and uplifting. The is a harkening back to the days of cathedrals with the crowns being tall and drawing the eyes upward just like stain glass windows drew medieval eyes towards God. For such complicated themes to be expressed in mere white and pink paper is truly inspiring.

This treaty on youth gang culture is astounding. The use of snowmen to represent the coldness of those pledged to do violence is a stroke genius. The lopsided grins and black eyes transport you into the role of victim, staring up waiting for whatever they have planned for you. One wonders...is this the last thing you will see...snowmen standing over you?

Catherine's approach to such a dark subject matter borders really shines a light on the giraffe problem. A cursory research indicates that giraffes actually cannot dance. They are incapable of this simple action that brings so many people and animals enjoy. Catherine tackles this head on with the whimsical hypothesis of "what if". Evoking visions of Kevin Bacon in footloose or Natalie Portman in Black Swan, Catherine's giraffe flies through the air. Kudos to your positivity Catherine. Maybe one day we will live in a world where animals will dance alongside each other. -Christopher

This is a wonderful representation of the inquisitiveness of the feline psyche. One cannot help but be drawn to the intelligence behind the eyes and feel like a small mouse before its majestic presence. The use of cool colors bring a calmness to what would be a terrifying encounter.
