Your polar bear is adorable! Even with the earring. My high school mascot was a polar bear. There is a real stuffed polar bear over the gym entrance. Keep up the good work!

Lula, I love your 3-tiered cake on a pedestal stand! When I was about 10-years-old, your Great-grandma Maule wanted a pedestal cake stand. My cousin and I walked around Sandusky and eventually found one in a Montgomery Ward's catalog. We ordered it and went and picked it up later. My dad must have helped me take it home to wrap for Christmas. Great-grandma was thrilled! What a great way for me to remember something so special by seeing your lovely artwork!

I often wonder what your meaning is behind your artwork. I don't see you often so I can ask. When I look at your magic box, I imagine the purple, green and pink suddenly come together to form a box, and the bow to top it off.

This heart and the one you made prior to this are both outstanding. I love the use of color -- is it ROY G BIV? Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. The other heart looks like it was created with tissue paper and this one with paint. You do such a great job with your art. I am so proud of you.
