Like her previous projects, Delaney's "Snowman" stamp or block print series draws your eye to a close examination of techinique, balance and perspective. Each square invites comparison to the others, noting how colors, pressure,positioning, angle and orbiting particles give each sphere a unique and dramatic take on the duplication of the same skinny snowman and surrounding snowflakes. It reminds me of Warhol's Campbell's Soup Can or Marilyn block print duplications. Similar to Warhol, Delaney, manages to transform the everyday perceptions of a typical kindergartner from simply being recognizable to extremely intriqiung representations and abstractions. -- Dennis
