WOW Tillie!! I'm super impressed! The shading, in particular, around the container of fruit is GREAT! Your art teacher does some really neat projects with you ... I wish I had an art teacher like yours when I was in school ... maybe then i could draw something other than "Stick People!" I hope your mom is saving your work for when you are older. It will be fun to show YOUR kids what you did at Benfield! I love you bunches and wear my "I love Tillie" all the time and ALWAYS get asked about it! I'm one lucky Gramma!

I thought I’d already told you how much I liked this! I think it’s a great resemblance of one of “The Masterpieces,” although I can’t recall the artist. The long neck is what makes me think so. You did a great job of putting the parts of her face in the right places. Eyes even with ears, nose going all the way up to between the eyes and mouth low on the face. If you look at faces drawn by many young kids, the positioning of parts is way off. You’ve really done a great job! BRAVO!!! By the way, I’ve gotten lots of compliments on my “I ?? Tillie” T-shirt. I wear it a LOT!!!

Great job, Tillie, and that’s not an easy medium to work with. So many things can go wrong when you are working with clay!! I love the flower and especially the stem!! That’s one big flower stem!!

That picture looks YUMMY!!! I’m drooling! I LOVE ice cream but I never get three scoops... I’d get it all over me because it would melt faster than I could lick it! Maybe if I put it in a cup? Hmm let’s try three scoops at the beach ... YEAH ... 3 scoops!!

I love the colors you used for this! It looks especially good on the blue paper! Is that chalk or crayon? I’m hoping I’ll get to see it when I come next month! I’m looking for a vase like that for my dining room table ... with all those colors in the vase it will make any color of flowers look good! I love the creativity! I was told each piece was torn out by hand and assembled as seen instead of using scissors. I find that makes the piece even more remarkable.
