The graduated shading of the cool-tone blue background really makes the mask stand out–and the shading gives the eyes a mysterious, spooky (in a good way) look…like it’s looking at me, and has a life of its own, independent of being “just” a mask. And seeing your piece immediately evokes a sense memory of seeing “The Lion King” on stage (in NYC! On Halloween!-an awesome experience, & your mask takes me right back to that excitement and wonder:)—the costumes were very much in this style. Your time and meticulous attention to detail really shows—well done, Bella!
