To me, your portrait looks like an older You......and I see dreams and thoughts around your head.....and I am not certain if you are looking directly at me, the viewer, or if you have a far-away look in your eyes. Dear Onnika Sunflower. Now, this is one interesting Pop Art Cake. I like your use of complementary colors - the green and orange and purple sets up a balanced and pleasing visual vibration. The shadow cast by the plate stem as well as the dark background offer depth and set off your yummy looking dessert. Nice detail! Well, Onnika Sunflower! This art piece has a 3 dimensional look to it. While my eye is first attrated to the toy piece and green pipe-looking object in the foreground, I am then drawn to look along the diminishing perspective and "into" the picture.....activity and movement is noted.
