Elijah: Your picture is a wonderful winter scene that perfectly reflects the scenery where your Aunt Marni, Uncle Val, and cousins Jesse and Shayna live. However, we will be in Mexico soon and can forget about the snow.

Elijah, This painting reminds me so very much of a project I did with my second graders many years ago using the designs of interesting and beautiful weaving from Africa called kente cloth.
