Dear Julian, I like your art project...the overlay of honey comb shaped design intrigued me. Plus, Bonnie Brae Bumble Bee Cottage is near and dear to our hearts. Let’s frame and hang it there! ??

Julian, your work has matured! I would like to hear how you would describe your motivation. You call on your audience to explore their feelings as they interpret your creation. Oma Kai

Dear Julian, I followed your instruction...spinning the op art. Wow! What an amazing experience, and each direction so different! I am betting that this was one of your favorite projects...a view within the view. Thank you For sharing. Love ??, Oma Kai

Dear Julian, Your work is very provocative. I appreciate your comments about your creation because it enhances my viewing. I also enjoyed your observation about the charcoal circles being too pronounced. Although I didn’t think about that at first glance, I agree with your assessment. The idea of magnifying circles within your project would be more pronounced. I love seeing your work. Love, Oma Kai ??

Dear Julian, I like the feather you created. I think it is a very powerful piece of work. Your statement, “ You don’t need wings to fly.” Is a beautiful thought and shows a deep understanding of who you are as a person. I love you so much. Oma Kai ??

I love that you and Anthony are working on a game. They remind me of the characters in the Pac Man video game. Keep creating!

Dear Julian, I love this piece...the objects absolutely are floating! This a medium for which you are well suited. It seems like such a natural flow of expression. Was the hairspray used to seal your work? ?

Dear Julian, I just mailed the negative space artwork of Daniel Ramirez, Contemporary Native American painter. He has created theworldslargestnativeamericanpainting. Moving along, your teacher is also teaching me. This latest work is different from all the rest. I like your use of color and symmetry. I will do some research so that I can grow my appreciation. ? Julian, your pot is wonderful! I recently went to an archeological display that had pottery from the early 1700s...there was an example of pottery that looked very much like yours! Your colors are classic! I enjoy this website. I feel like we have had a conversation after viewing a new piece of your creativity. ?

J, I LOVE the colors you chose for your pot! The earthy tones of green and brown contrasted with the sea blue color on the inside are great. The texture on the outside of your pot is very interesting as well. I can't wait to see it in person! Keep up the great work!!

Quite a dramatic project. The gold color picks up the 3D details of the snowflake wonderfully. It will look great on the tree.

Great colors Julian. Are these pieces supposed to go together or be separate? Either way, the colors that you've chosen work well together and make the pieces pop. Would you do a larger weaving to hang on a wall?

Julian, I love your weavings. Are these the ones you were talking about for LoveFest? I think it would be a great project to teach everyone. I'm so glad that you are enjoying art so much! You are lucky to have such a wonderful teacher in Ms. Beatrice. Keep up the great work!!

Dear Julian, Thank you for sharing your weaving project. I like how you used the bright blue as the common color in many pieces in your display. The color really pops. I bet you had fun with this assignment. ?? Oma Kai
