She looks shy hiding behind something or she's telling me a secret. I know it's your face and you've done a good job drawing your eye, eye brow, freckles, and hand in this charcoal/pencil illustration. The focus on half of your face had to be a challenge while you looked in a mirror. I'm waiting for you to blink....

Excellent representation of a full beet root with leaves specimen. I don't know if you had an actual plant to work with and create the "real life" image I see on your portfolio web page. Your colors are spot on! I love beets and your picture of one makes me hungry enough to want to eat it. Yum.
