Mazalee!!! This is my favorite piece of yours yet! It reminds me of the mosaics we saw together in Italy in Spilimbergo. Remember?! The colors and texture I adore.

This piece is so intriguing! Dragon fly, horse, hippo, butterfly, and beaver (or squirrel?)...that is what I see. They all look like they are exploring white sands together! I look forward to talking with you, Mazalee, about this wonderful piece.

The bright yellow shapes and vibrant green makes me think of a spring sun-filled day. I wish I could see it in person!

I like the abstract approach, it resembles a sunny day on a hillside covered in flowers but its artistically communicated.

What a wonderful painting! The colors and balance of them and the lines and shapes is marvelous. It brings me a smile on a cold, winter day in Chicago!

My favorite part of this piece is the tree. It looks like it is holding up the sky! And the middle window on the right of the building interests me. I wonder what is behind that window! This piece evokes my curiosity.

Wow! My favorite section is the orange one. Beautiful attention to detail. I can't wait for you to join me on a visit to see Modrian's works at the Art Institute of Chicago!

What a lovely connecting of squares and rectangles! Mazalee, even your strokes work well to make the picture an interesting, balanced composition.
