Hi, Ty. Once again, I'm impressed with your use of perspective to give your artwork depth. I also like the cool blue-tone/gray colors to show the coldness of winter weather and the warm red and yellow colors to show the family warmth and love in the house. Keep up the good work! Lots of love, Nana

Ty! This is truly amazing! It's only missing one thing---YOUR SIGNATURE! An artist always signs his/her name somewhere. When I write my children's book one day, I am going to have you illustrate it! Love you!

Hi, Ty. I hadn't really looked closely at this piece of your artwork until today, but it really caught my attention. All the intricate swirls make it VERY intricate and interesting, and the colors make it look like an ice sculpture. I'm still trying to figure out how you made all those "sweet rolls" fit into the the sides. I can tell that this this piece took quite a bit of time and work to complete. Keep up your artwork, and it will be something you can enjoy no matter how old you are. Much love, Nana

Ty, I like the way that you have captured the spirit of the Army camp with the green camouflage colors and the American flag. Your style is impressionist, but it gives a clear idea of your respect for our soldiers and the life they live, sometimes with only tents for their homes. I also like the way you made the flag stand out against the blue sky. The red stripes of the flag and the red on the tent, call attention to the sacrifices that our soldiers make for our country. Keep up the good work! Lots of love, Nana

Ty, I just felt that your picture was of a winter night before I even saw that title. The colors are cool--in more ways than one! The blue, white, and gray make the cold night, but the pink gives it some life and hope that morning and spring will come. You've given the picture depth and perspective with the placement of the tree trunks and the curves of gray and pink. Good work! Much love always, Nana

Ty, this is SO cool! I feel like you're setting out on a maiden voyage into deep unseen lands. Looks like you're heading into the vast sea with mountains and obstacles along the way, but I see light too. Really good painting! Can't wait to hear what you were thinking about as you composed it! Love, mom

Dude - awesome painting!! I love all the layers you created. Those layers make the scene look like you can just walk into your painting and trek really deep into the woods. Very cool - great work! Love, Dad

Ty, this is one of my favorite pieces you've created. I love this guy's mouth, his hair, his simple nose and the mountains in the background. It's all just great! I like how hard you worked on this. -Mom
