Hi Sweet Hannah Joy, I'm so happy to see another wonderful piece of art that you created at Moorsbridge! This snowman looks cheerful...I'm not sure that will add to him scaring the crows!!! :) Van Gogh is certainly one of the most famous painters ever and your picture is as priceless to me as one of his would be at an auction. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great art work!!! Love and prayers, XOX Imma

Hi Hannah, This is a mighty cute scarecrow! It's so cute, the crows might think he's friendly instead of scary!!! :) Sometimes the little things in an art project make a big difference. You know what I like in this one? I like the cute sheep inn the background. They look happy and this picture as a whole is a happy one! :) I hope you continue creating good art, Hannah. I love seeing your creations! Love you, XOX Imma

Merry Christmas season Hannah Joy!!! This latest art piece, is so realistic! I love sleigh bells or Christmas bells of every kind...they do seem to ring out JOY! This is a very realistic-looking piece. Both the ferns, bells, and lighting in the foreground and background are absolutely stunning! THANKS again for sharing this wonderful creation, Hannah! I love seeing the beautiful pieces you create in your 3rd grade art class at Moorsbridge. Much love, XOX Imma

Hi Hannah dear ~ It's the beginning of your 3rd grade year and already you're creating beautiful art work! WOW! The colorful fall trees are super pretty!!! They almost look like lollipops. Hi Sweet Hannah Joy, I see this art work and see stars, stars, and more stars!!! I love stars! They remind me of The Star that marked the place where Jesus was born so many years ago! God made the stars and all things and when I see them I also think of His amazing creative powers and how good He is to us! I really like the jewel tone colors you used in this art work, Hannah. I also like how you divided the different sections of stars and made the large 5 pointed star in the middle the brightest! This is a happy drawing, Hannah. I hope you save it as a reminder of the wonderful art you created in 2nd grade at Moorsbridge. Much love, XOX Imma

Hi Hannah, This is a cute piece! Dr. Seuss had a fabulous imagination--both with words and pictures. He was a very creative man and you're a creative young girl! Who knows, maybe you'll be an author when you grow up. Of course, a vet is a good goal also. Only God knows what you'll be then but I do hope you'll continue to be the kind, joyful, caring girl you are...those are good qualities for a lifetime! Thanks for sharing your Seuss Fish drawing, Hannah. It makes me smile just to see it! :) Much love, XOX Imma

Hi Hannah, I really like this Dragonflies piece you drew! The colors are soft and realistic and the wings of the dragonflies look delicate and realistic also. It definitely looks like something we could see in our backyard or at the Nature Center or anyplace outside. Did you enjoy creating this piece? I've sure enjoyed seeing it! I think it's one you should pin on your bulletin board or post somewhere...it's so well done! Keep up the great work, Hannah! I'm so glad you have a good art teacher and are creating such lovely pieces! Much love, XOX Imma

Hi Hannah, What a cute little Penguin! The beak and feet look especially realistic and I love the ear muffs on his (or her?) ears as well as the green yarn scarf--all too cute! It looks like Penguin is all bundled up for a winter day! The red and greenish yellow horizontal stripes in the background look a little like colored ice...fancy! The eyes look like they're focused on something--maybe the next fish he (or she) will catch for a meal?! I like this happy little critter, Hannah. But, I LOVE you so much!!! XOXOXO Imma

Hello sweet Hannah Joy, I LOVE this Winter Self-Portrait! It does look like you because she looks like a cheerful, friendly girl, just like you! The blue sky and snow flakes as well as her warm hat definitely look wintery. Also, the colors of her hat, sweater and eyes are so pretty! I know you've drawn, and otherwise created, many good art projects at Moorsbridge, Hannah, but I do think this must be one of my favorites! Of course, you're one of my 3 favorite students who are, or have been, at Moorsbridge! Much love and appreciation for your good art always, XOX Imma

Hi Hannah, Kitten Cupid is certainly properly named! It's a cute kitty and the angel-like wings make it look like a cupid! Your art teacher certainly gives you some great opportunities to increase your ability to enjoy art and create art--both wonderful things! I also like that the kitty seems to have a smile on her face and seems to be flying--too cute! You're too cute too, Hannah! Love you to the moon and back a bazillion times a bazilliion!!! XOX Imma

Hi Hannah Joy, What a cheerful painting this is! It's so fun to see something that looks so cheerful and like Christmas this time of year that's been created by YOU!!! :) The trees definitely do have a sense of depth to them and they're just so pretty being decorated and lit up like they are! I also like the snow lines and moon in the background. Such a creative, pleasant, cheerful piece of art! I think you should put this one on the bulletin board in your bedroom or give it to me and I'll put it up in the playroom every Christmas. :) Keep up the great work, Hannah! Much love, XOX Imma

Hi Hannah, I'm not sure if this fella needs a new set of clothes or if he's a scarecrow. Either way, he's cute and I like the way you made the rag clothes look like they were stitched together! :) His hat and teeth are cute too...as well as the background. It looks like you made the guy and the background separately and then glued him onto it but I'm not sure about that. Thanks for sharing your art, Hannah! I love to see what you make!!! XOX Imma

Hi Hannah, Well, these are creatures that are supposed to look scary but we know there are no real monsters. There are real angels and I'm thankful for that because they help us. You make all things good, Hannah, and I'm always happy to see what you create. You used a nice variety of colors in these pictures. Lots of love always, XOX Imma

Hi Hannah, So this is a Symmetrical Name Creature---that's interesting! I understand the word Symmetrical and this art work is certainly that. Do you get to give it a name? It's colors are interesting and pretty. I bet you folded a piece of paper and cut the outsides to make it symmetrical. Is that right? I did a few art works like that years ago. It was fun! :) I'm glad you're enjoying being creative and have a super art class and art teacher to learn so many wonderful things! You are blessed! Much love always, XOXOXOXOXO Imma

Hi Hannah, What a lovely, creative sunflower you drew! I'm wondering if you used paints or colored markers or crayons or something else for it. I can't tell. Whatever you used, it looks so pretty and cheerful! :) :) Sunflowers are cheerful flowers and I really like the ones you and your family plant near your playhouse in the backyard and near your mailbox. Thanks for sharing this super pretty piece of art with us, Hannah. We love you so much!!!!! XOXOXOXOX Imma

Hi Hannah, This is a cute cat! You've become such a good artist and I know you love to draw and create pretty art...such fun! One thing I'm super happy about--You're no scardy Cat! You're a brave girl and your courage inspires other people. I'm so glad you were brave and helpful when we had the smoke alarm situation at your home when your Mommy & Daddy were gone. You were tremendous about finding the ladder, the battery, and keeping your cool! Stay BRAVE, Hannah Joy! The LORD made you brave! XOX Imma

Hi Hannah, What a beautiful picture this is!! Now I bet you know what Kimono means and what people groups typically wear this style of clothing...at least traditionally. I've never had a Kimono but I did have a Caftan once. Maybe your Mom can tell you what that looks like...it's a clothing style from a different part of the world. God made such a BIG WORLD and such a variety of people, clothing, weather...so many differences! I'm especially fond of the colors you used in this piece and the Japanese writing on the left side of the work. Very nicely done, Hannah Joy!!! I love seeing your art pieces but I LOVE YOU MORE!!! Hi Hannah, How cozy this teddy bear looks! The colorful quilt looks like one Grandma Myrt may have made...such neat stitches and fun blocks of color. :) The snoozy bear looks so comfy in the quilt it makes me a bit sleepy just looking at the comfort! I especially like how his (or her?) feet stick out...it's not good to have our feet get too hot at night. The ZZZZZ's give more evidence of the bear being cozy...snug as a bug...or a bear...in a rug!!! Thanks for sharing the adorable work of art, Hannah! You're doing so well in first grade and I'm so proud of you and the wonderful art work you create! Lots of love and more love, XOXOXOXOX Imma

Hi Hannah, This is super cool! Cool Beans!!! :) I especially like how decorative the sock (or legging?) is...all the colors and patterns are very interesting combined as you did! Also, the shoe looks like it leaves enough room for the foot. (Imma likes shoes that aren't tight and are comfortable on the feet.) Finally, I like the tread on the shoe and how it looks like the person who this leg and foot belong to are ready to walk or run strong...I see a certainty in the step! I LOVE seeing your creations, Hannah. You are soooooo much more creative than I was at your age or even am now! Keep up the good work and please thank your art teacher for sharing the lovely art with us. Lots of love, XOXOXOXOXOXO Imma

Hi Hannah, Your owl art work is well-done! I like the colors you used and the way you made use of various shapes. The bright moon and stars add a nice touch too! Owls have interesting habits and features - especially how they like to be alert at night and how they see and hear. They're not really spooky - they're just doing what God made them to do. They catch and eat mice and other small critters and make a sound that sounds like, "whooo, whooo" or "hoot, hoot". Sometimes we get owls in our trees in the backyard and can hear them at night. It's fun! The owl has an amazing ability to turn it's head completely around also--people and other animals sure can't do that! I hope you enjoyed this art piece, Hannah. I sure enjoyed it! Love you, XOX Imma

Dear Hannah, This Shooting Star picture is really good! Did your art teacher give you ideas for how to make each point of the star a different color? Your dimensions for the star are quite well done! The colors remind me something of a painted desert scene. I've seen shooting stars a few times. They are truly remarkable! God created a beautiful and wonder-filled world for us to enjoy! Hi Hannah, You've used many wonderful colors in this work...well done! I can't tell if it's painted but it looks like water colors. I used to love using water colors when I was young...that was a treat! I like the way you shaped the body and made the little creature look like it was sniffing up some bug or getting ready to pounce...well done! It looks like you used all the colors of the rainbow too...are those still your favorite colors? If this little creature was a pet, I bet it would be a fun one to own! Love you, Hannah, XOX Imma

Hi Hannah, I really like this art work! I like the way you colored the flowers, grass, and tree trunk. I also like the colors you chose for the tree leaves and how you cut and glued them onto the trunk. The shape of the top of the tree reminds me a bit of a hand. Remember a few days ago we were looking at maps and talked about Michigan looking like a mitten? This reminds me of a mitten also! Thanks for sharing this pretty fall art piece with me, Hannah.
