I love this, both the design and the colors. In addition to positive and negative space, it reminds me of the Albers squares artists use to help understand color. Nice job, Amelia!

Amelia, I REALLY like the background color of this piece. The designs are rhythmic and undulating. I bet your work on zentangles helped you think of the many patterns to use. Well done!

Pooksie This is an interesting 'color story'. I wish the picture were larger so I could see all the details. I see a few letters. Was this the piece in which you wrote your name ever which way? Very interesting!

Pooksie, This is stunning! The sky reminds me of the beautiful sunsets Papa and I saw in Hawaii. I like all the different colors you used in the trees. In fabric, we would call that technique "thread painting." Another great piece. Keep exploring with color.

Pooksie, Another Masterpiece! I am delighted that the owl's wing positions are different. It shows good understanding of how the owl moves. I also like that there are 2 kinds of star shapes. Why settle for just one when a variety looks so good. Nice color choices. You are an inspiration to me!

Pooksie, What a beautiful and cheerful piece. I especially like the shape of the vase. Of course, the yellow sunflowers are gorgeous because I love yellow flowers! Mamie
