Michael, I really love this picture. I love the way you varied the shapes of the flowers to make an appealing bouquet and creating a thick black line around the flowers and vase makes it pop off the page. The background water colors are just right as a backdrop. Nice work! Grandma -- Grandma

Michael, This is a fascinating piece of art. The dark and light faces could be seen as two sides of our human nature. But seen another way, it also looks like the moon in the sky. I like that the picture has mystery in it. Love, Grandma -- Grandma

I love how much expression and feeling is in each of these pumpkins. They pop out of the page. The sky color is beautiful too. If you and family decide you already have enough decorations, I would be honored to put this on my front door for Halloween. Love you. -- Grandma

I so enjoy your artwork, Michael. This one is especially distinctive because it combines sharp, black line drawing with colorful water-based paint. This makes it pop, and hold your attention. I love that the creature you drew has something in common with humans, but you added whimsical touches like stars for eyes. So we don't know exactly what the object is and focus instead on the beautiful composition. -- Grandma
