Bram, I can see how you used shapes like a triangle, an oval, a rectangle and circles to construct this self portrait. It is also interesting to me that you drew this using just a black marker. I hope that you have the chance to do a self portrait every year so that we can follow your impressions and skills. -- MJ

Bram, I am enjoying this artwork! The dark leaf appears to be closer and floating on the colorful background. The "strings" of color in the background are so bright that they look as though they are actually strings of lights that you have turned on. I like the effects that you have created here. -- MJ
