Hi Mel-Love the dimension in this piece! The way you went from near to far and captured that is really good-that is not an easy thing to draw. You even got the sidewalk margins even as well. Hi Mel-What a cute ceramic kitty! It will be a great addition to your house along with your real kitty. Ceramics are so fun to do aren’t they? It’s so fun to see them after they are fired in the kiln (I’m guessing you still use this process). Nice job! Love and miss you!!!!!

Hi Mel- you’ll have to tell me about your Reduction Animal Print piece when I see you in Florida in a few weeks. I’m thinking it involved a paper fold to get the same animal in the same spot on each 1/4 of the paper? We can’t wait to see you!!!!!!!

Hi Melody-We enjoyed seeing your Still Life artwork. Great use of color! I couldn’t quite see what the center picture was since the gray and white didn’t show up online very well-it looked like it was in pencil with using a shading technique. You are very artistic and I especially loved the pumpkin-we are ready for some cooler weather here in Florida! It is still HOT down here and doesn’t feel like fall. We can’t wait to see you next month when you come to Florida!!!!! Love you!

What a beautiful snow globe Melody! The blue color with the sparkling snow is very striking. We love to see snow since we don’t get any down here in Florida! Maybe you’ll get snow on Christmas so you can make a snowman like the one in your picture??! We love you!

Melody-The dimension on this piece you created is so neat! By gluing construction paper shapes that you cut out onto your base picture gives a cool 3-D effect.
