Oh my gosh! I wish I had learned how to do that. Your perspective and shadows are amazing. Congratulations!

Good job Kayla. I'm terrible at drawing faces, having to erase over and over again because something is not right, but the shape of the eye is on point and so are the eyelashes and fold of skin above the eye. Looking forward to see your progress and eventually sketching an entire portrait. Love Alex

Looks just like an impressionist painting by Renoir or Monet!

Impressive neon effect. The blurry layer over and another dark layer under illuminates the K and makes it seem as if glowing in the dark. Good use of light and shadow gives the illusion of three dimension on a flat surface.

Pretty cool kayla. On the news a family was surprised to find their christmas tree covered with praying mantises. I didn't know this but that's why christmas tree lots have a shaking machine to shake off any critters that might be hiding in the tree. see you soon.

Nature is such an interesting subject to paint. The stream and trees provide perspective and depth. The steep, jagged mountains lead the eye to the focal point, a rainbow starry sky. It takes me back to our trip to Alps.
