Leiah, that’s amazing. It’s too bad you don’t have art all year because this is such a gift you have. I might get a T-shirt in this! Jk jk

Leiah, You did a pretty good job with perspective drawing with this medium; it isn't the easiest to work with, in my opinion. Fun that you drew Paulynn's, I bet you notice the building a lot more when you enter it, now that you've drawn it. This might sound weird to you, but one of my favorite parts of this piece is the street light. You nailed the angle of the cross bar on the light; REALLY well. And you did a good job of making it show up against the gray window frames. Good job! I'm ecstatic that I get to see your work each week, Leiah. Keep up the great work!!!

Isn't perspective drawing interesting? You learn quickly to keep the lines parallel to each other if you want the object to be realistic-looking. This is a pretty good depiction of a stapler, Leiah.

I love your critique of your work, Leiah. That is usually how we improve, when we take a critical look at what we've done. I think this piece would make a really great notebook or folder cover, but I would probably always be doodling on it:)

Leiah, this is a fun project. It reminds me of the book "Animiximals" which we gave Tanner. It was written by Papa's adopted sister, Crystal, who lives across the street from your Great Grandma Hardy. In that book, she describes these animals that are combos, kind of like your Koko bear. You should ask Tanner if you can see it and the interesting illustrations.
