Kudos to your Art Teacher for this lesson and assignment! I've always appreciated the "2-point perspective building" not only in drawings, but also when I encounter them in real life. This 2-point perspective building certainly has both character and characters. Although it appears to house a business, its character stems from a homey appearance - the awning, the picture window, the flat signage that resembles wall art, and its chimney depicts Santa bringing his dry clean items to "Spring Dry Clean". Its characters seem mysterious - the giraffe, the owl, did that person in the wire fall from the "Helicopter Umbrella", hopefully it's just an Alien looking figure on a drone, the well-dressed woman anchoring the Drive-In sign, the calm expression on the cat seems to betray what could be fuming thoughts, who is that little girl, and is that a cloudy figure behind the shade in the picture window? The items are just as mysterious - the hairbrush and sword. And finally, there's the elephant in the room - the big red plume? So many unanswered questions for me.

Striking at first glance! That made me want to look more closely. I agree with your comment about the feline faces Meg. Also, so many interesting items in this room. One poster honors the source of life and the other love but why the cryptic spelling? The cat trying to get back in the room through the window might not only think of it as home, but also as a warm, loving, safe place. The red outline on the rug's cat picture seems to leave no doubt who the star of this room is. It drew me in to notice a second color in its white geometric eyes. Even the ceiling fan seems to resemble a cat nose with whiskers. The ability to produce art that's both beautiful and interesting is a talent to appreciate.
