I particularly appreciated this one because it is so different from the others. The blue background brings out the pink flower. And it has the feel of a gift to someone in particular or maybe a gift to every viewer. It makes me want to reach out an accept it.

Great details of patterns. When put together on one hand they make a fascinating comparison. I know this is just practice in a way, but it is quite intriguing. Grandma

Hi Zoe, It's been fun to follow what you are doing in your art class. I particularly like this set of sketches because it gives me an idea of all the different things you are doing and trying in class. I'm so glad there is a class at Wautauga High that gives you an opportunity to work on different things. Keep it up. Grandma

GREAT! This is my favorite so far. Is the fingernail supposed to be not visible, on the pointer finger? Or did Artsonia cut it off? I love the contrast between the plump little palm and the hard, sharp-looking textures of the fingers. Was it approaching Halloween that made you think of witch fingernails? (I have to show you the gloves I got today!)

I have received copies of Zoe's art on Artsonia. I enjoyed it and have emailed my comments directly to Zoe. Artsonia is a fun and interesting idea. —Frederik

Wow! That is so complex! It must have taken forever to do it. The crane must be about o take off. Reminds me of a Russian movie I saw LONG AGO called "The Cranes Are Flying."

I like the tangles you chose to capture the essence of your Zentangle animal, Zoe!

I am enjoying Zoe's art SO MUCH! Except for my Christmas present(a bird in hands) I had not seen anything she'd done for a long time. I'm impressed with the sophistication of her work. And I love reading her comments!
