I love it. What a wonderful theme and way to collaborate with others. Beautiful colors and important message. Gail

That is an amazing piece and I can see it required a lot of work. The theme of “saving the ocean” is so important today when we need to do so much more to protect all of our natural resources.

Such a pleasing work. I love it. So interesting to read the manner in which you created it. I have always been intrigued by the varying shapes of sassafras leaves. So nice to see that one is the focus of your work. The colors and textures are a fun fall novelty.

Hailey with all those wonderful colors you have captured fall, my favorite time of year.

Hailey, The yarn does a great job capturing the brillance of the sun. I love the colors you chose and the different shadings throughout this piece. It makes me wish I was at the beach right now. Thanks for bringing some warmth into these cold winter days. Nanny

Hi Hailey, I've very much enjoyed watching your evolution as an artist this school year. This piece is very aesthetically beautiful. It also represents your strong ability to envision a merging of two separate environments.

Hailey, I love the artistry of your WINTER SUNSET. When I see it, I’m reminded that even in the barren winter, when the leaves are off the tree, the tree is still beautiful, the snowflakes are magical, and warm hearts are always there to override the cold. Thanks for drawing this. Love, Grandma

Hailey, Your "winter sunset" would make a lovely cover for a holiday card. Looking at the tree surrounded by a heart with snow flakes falling in the background helps to put me in the spirit of the season. This could be one of my favorites! Nanny

Wow! What an interesting pair of works. You did a great job of translating the boxes in the first piece to the boxes of the second piece. Your use of different shades of gray to create the shadows and portray the positioning of each box to the other shows a real understanding of the power of range and degree of color. It looks like it was fun to do. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for letting me enjoy it, too.

Hailey, I never know what I am going to find when I open up the link to your art work and I love the element of surprise. These boxes make me think of my recent move and the fact that my house in Dedham had started to look like a storage closet. I am interested in finding out how you are able to make the pieces of tape stand out. It seems that with each piece your skill set increases. Keep up the good work. Nanny

I'm intrigued by the subject matter of your still life. I'll have to ask you about the assignment when I see you. I like the way the boxes are balanced to n each other and the way you arranged the labels and the box markings. Love Grandma

Hi Hailey, These cool colored cubes add a whole new genre to your art portfolio. I love how you made them 3 dimensional and each one slightly different from the others.

Hailey, The deep pink trim and stitches provides a wonderful contrast and framing for the white material and the pretty gems. You made a beautiful gift to give Mommy for valentine's day!

Hailey, I appreciate the themes of death and dying represented in this piece. I notice the contrast of dark and light. I particularly like looking at the texture of the walkway that passes in front of the tree.

Hailey, Your new art piece of a bare tree against a barren background reminds me of the month November, which is the birth month of three of your grandparents. Your drawing captures the stark beauty of that time of year before the snow falls. You now have two very different but equally compelling drawings in your portfolio. We are very proud of your work. Once again you've composed an artistic and skillful piece of work. I like that you've created a tree that, even when bare, stretches up and out, yet you also have strong horizontal lines, the stone wall, etc. The baroness of the scene is there along with the sense of the potential of the coming "not bare" time. It really makes me think. It also reminds me of the time you looked out at the bare tree in your yard with all the fallen leaves around it and exclaimed, "What a mess!" Great work, Hailey. I always like viewing you work. Love, Grandma

Hailey, Thank you for putting this piece online. I like the effect that you have achieved in the leaves of the plant. The veins of the leaves really stand out. I appreciate your use of color. I also very much enjoy the angle of your fish in the tank. I can see that you put a lot of love into this work. You demonstrate a strong ability to pay attention to detail while knowing the balance of when to engage in freeform creativity.

Hailey, I love the detail in this piece, especially the clouds out the window, the polka-dotted wallpaper and the wooden table. Well done! Love, Mom

Such a creative work inspired by Matisse. It's so wonderful to look at. I like the way you used a plant and repeated Matisse's green dots on the wall of the outside garden. I noticed that you made it an indoor scene rather than an outdoor scene, and chose to have a window looking to the outside. It reflects Matisse's idea, but gives it a different feel. I love it ??! You're a really talented artist.
