OMG- I don't remember what kind of teacher you said you're thinking of becoming, (Music, English, elementary, SPED), but if you don't at least Minor in Art I will be ticked. You have vision and skills to execute your vision (in other words, Sillz yo).

I love this type of art works because this looks really pretty and silent place in the middle of the forest -- Aashruti

This reminds me a lot of Julian Schnabel, even though it doesn't have any broken china on it.

As I told you in class, this is gorgeous. Thank you for taking it so seriously. What happened to the left side? Why only the right side of a rib cage?

Three of the eight wedges are phenomenally beautiful! Great density, contrast, range and blending- the objectives of this assignment. But obviously I'm very disappointed that you lacked the persistence to finish the other five portions of the grid. I feel so gypped out of seeing how it would turn out if it had been finished! You're cruel. How could you DO this to your viewers?!! Don't you care about anyone but yourself? How dare you deprive the world of your genius like this! SHAME ON YOU!

Thank you for putting so much effort into this exercise. I'm very happy with everyone's results. These drawings really show that you're carefully observing and for the most part, accurately recording those observations. How were you able to copy such a difficult image, beautifully drawing even foreshortened areas? Because you simply drew what you saw, just as you saw it- rather than worrying so much about what you were drawing. Do you feel like you managed to make the cognitive shift from Left-brain-mode to right-brain-mode?
