Good afternoon, Monica. So excited to see your first art project in 3rd grade--wow! This one is really an interesting one. Hi Monica: Good job on our Andy Warhol art piece. I really like the positive phrases you added to it. The Crystal Bridges Art Center here in Bella Vista has the Andy Warhol piece of Marilyn Monroe hanging in the Museum. Grandma has seen it several times. It isn't always there because they put the art pieces away for 3 or 4 months every once in a while so they won't fade. They cycle different things in to replace the Marilyn Monroe one. Maybe IF we have time we can go to Crystal Bridges and see if they have any of Andy Warhol pieces out, when you come in June. Great Bald Eagle, Monica!! :) Grandpa and I went on a Bald Eagle watch a few years ago. There are a lot of bald eagles here in Bella Vista in January and February. It was really fun to see their nests and watch them fly when we were on the eagle watch trip. My Dad, your great grandfather was in the army during World War II and he would be very happy to hear you are celebrating Veterans Day. Have a fun time and hope to talk to you soon. Hi Monica: LOVE YOUR ROCKS!! People here in Bella Vista have started a "Paint a Rock" game. People can paint rocks like you did and then hide them along our walking trails and on our golf courses. Anyone who finds a rock can keep it or hide it in a new place. Lots of people have found some really neat rocks. Your rocks would be fun to find, they are so cute!! Getting anxious to see you soon. They paint rocks like you did and then hide them around our walking trails and on our golf courses and who ever finds one can keep it or hide it in a new place. Lots of people have found rocks and are having a lot of fun hunting for rocks. Your rocks would be exciting to find. They are really cute. See you soon. Maybe we can go rock hunting? Hi Monica: Good job. We have lots of flowering trees that grow wild in the forests here in Arkansas. They have been very beautiful this year. Most of the trees have lost their flowers and are getting their leaves now. We have three trees in our yard that had beautiful flowers earlier this spring but are full of leaves now. You did a great job mixing your colors to get the brown tree trunk. It looks very real. Anxious to see you when school is out. Love you. Grandma -- Karen

Hello Monica: Another absolutely adorable art project. This has to be the cutest turtle I have ever seen. We have lots of turtles here in Arkansas and several times when Grandpa and I have been driving we will see one in the road. Grandpa always stops and lays it in the ditch so it won't get run over. A couple of times he has put it in a box and brought it home. We put them in the fish pond at our neighbors house.
