Olivia, the colors are sharp and eye catching, and the lines are in good symmetry. Good job.

I love the cute tiger cub you made! Good job, Olivia! You were right about being born in the Year of the Tiger. Tigers represent bravery and power in the Chinese Zodiac. They are symbols of the emperor. Ancient Chinese people believed that tigers turned white after they have lived for 500 years.

What’s in your little head never stops to amaze me! I chuckled out loud when I opened my mail and saw this artwork first thing this morning. What contrast in the extreme degree you were showing us by pitching the tropical sun against the stark frozen landscape. I noticed the lone camp and camp fire in the middle. How interesting.... hmm...

What an exotic, dreamy landscape you came up with! The overall orange cast brought to mind the sand storm I ran into in Luxor. The pine trees in the forefront reminded me of Christmas! The rest looked like karst formations I saw in China!

Nice sugar skull, with great colors and pattern arrangement!

Happy Halloween! This is the first skull I’ve ever met with lipsticks on her chubby checks, thoughts of wisdom and love in her head and braces in her mouth. Hmm.... It reminds me of someone I know! ??

Lovely swirl of colors! I particularly love those tiny patterns you etched into each section to make things interesting. There’re 7 colors in a rainbow. Hmm... I think I saw 8 in your rainbow swirl. How special is that! Good work?? PorPor

Your artwork reminded me of patterns I saw out of a psychedelic Kaleidoscope! Nice work, WeiWei!

Olivia, Very cool piece of abstract ! Realism is definitely overrated ! I’m curious as to what thoughts inspired The choice of colors ? What ideas did you want to express? Tell me more.

I love the differences between the leaves, not only the colors but also the patterns on the leaves. Nice work, Olivia!

Hey, Olivia! You made beautiful patterns! I love the blue and green combination, the varying intensity of the colors and most of all, those little hearts! If you look around you, patterns are everywhere. They are the natural order of every day life! Flowers have unique designs, they repeat in almost circular fashion. Next time before you eat a peeled orange, look at it before pulling the sections apart. Patterns are fun to discover and fun to look at!

Hi Olivia, You did a beautiful job. Ya-ya loves it. Ahma is on her class re-union trip in Taiwan and Japan. She will see it when she has internet. We have quite many lady bugs. They are quite but your art is lovelier. Ya-ya

I imagine ... The ladybug smiles and wonders if she should nap on the leaf or jump off to add a bigger dot on her back!
