Hi Nathan, This is a terrific flag. It reminds me of the special flags that a lot of police officers, like Uncle Andrew, have. Many police officers have flags that use something they call the "blue line" and your use of blue, black and gold really makes me think of those flags. Great job! Love, Grammy -- Colleen

Hi Nathan, You did a really great job with this Navajo weaving project. It would be a great design for a blanket and that's what a lot of Native American weavings were used for. It's not easy to use a loom to weave things in and out and over and under to create a pattern, but you did that really well. I like the combination of colors and shapes you used, too. Hey, Nathan, I think I missed seeing this one before, but it is really cool and it makes me think of all the snowmen that we could build after yesterday's storm. I like the way you created a background for your snowman and added other snowmen and snowflakes to make it seem like he is really outside in the snow. Nice work! Love, Grammy -- Colleen

Hi Nate, This is amazing! I think your Tree of Life is one of the best pieces of art you have created this year...and I like all your other pieces, too! The tree's branches are really cool and I like all the metallic circles...that must have been hard to do, but they look great. Hi Nathan, I think this is a very cool sculpture and I read that it's called an assemblage. I like that word and I like the way you assembled so many things in your artwork. The pine branch adds a little extra color and looks really good with other shapes you picked. Most of all I really like the color blue that you used to paint over everything. Nice job! Wow, Nathan. This is an amazing picture. I can tell that you really learned a lot about Vincent Van Gogh's art work and you worked just like an artist on your still life. You did a great job drawing the vase and the flowers and coloring the background. I love this picture and think it's great that your teachers are teaching you so much about art and artists.
