Good job. Simple sketch but meaningful! I believe the zoo is so happy to have it for its exhibition.

Storm at sea with an empty boat? If my imagination is right, this painting is the best on drawing waves.

I like this painting- very impressive.

I feel the expansiveness of the space, especially with the big sky. I love the mixture of colors used on the ground surface.

Great painting on the winter landscape! Hope you see the real winter snow as in Chicago. You will paint more impressive paintings and enjoy outdoor ice-skating.

Hi Nam, It's amazing painting. I feel, "Rain forest's dancing" Hope one day your Dad helps you go through a small piece of rain forest at dawn and at dusk - Everything is changing even you. Two weeks ago, we bought you a zig-saw puzzle painting on landscape. Surprisingly, our intention is the same as your school project.

Great! Just look at your picture wearing bright costume, I think about a Mexican wearing a "poncho" riding on horse in the desert. (I found out that my imagination is right when reading your school project). Now my proposal is: "Ask your Dad to let you enjoy some Mexican music", that differs with American Cowboys.

Great job Nam! Harry "potter" with his fuming head. I hope that when J.K Rowling sees your painting, she will write more funny stories about Harry Potter's transformation. Please! Sent it to her.

I'm so surprised. It's the first time I saw this kind of painting using two simple and contrast colors-black for mystery, and with white lines "the ghost" be seen clearly.

Hi Nam, I find something funny. when looking at your smile and your eyes. Even though it's not you in the self portrait's painting, it so attractive to use dark colors for hilarious expression. How do you paint your self- portrait? By watching you in a mirror, your photos, or imagination. Good job!

This monster is really cute, Nam. I wish we had him for a pet.
-- Dad
- on October 26, 2016
A monster! It's a beautiful painting. Is it " a see through monster, with rabbit's head and chicken's feet" isn't it? I like the combination of colors vividly contrary with the traditional black and red colors for painting the monster. That's great! It seems that the monster was playing in a twister, and the "brown cloud" was blowing.

Fun pic of a running boy :)

Big surprise! Is it a new move of your painting? I cannot wait until your teacher explains about this project. Don't worry! if my imagination is always wrong but it is my raw and fresh feelings. I and Huong burst in laugh. "Is that you, Nam in Halloween costume?" When we look at the smiling face, an right eye, a Pinocchio nose, and a big mouth, we laugh again, again. It seems that you are running away. But when seeing the photo of the top of your head behind the mask, the combination of a photo and a painting, we fall into very strange feelings. Which is true and what is hidden?

Nam, what wonderful insight into the idea of reflection, even knowing that the reflection will be wavy muted colors in the water. I like the way you filled the whole paper with you drawing.

"The great attractive painting", a breakthrough in art. Let my feelings flow. Is this one or two paintings- above and one below? One painting. Don't see it as two. The only "one" creates a strong emotion in me when watching it. It's a 3D painting. Bright blue water and sky are churning around. It seems like small yellow flowers floating up and down peacefully next to four big trees standing firmly. But is there something wrong when the first row of trees (nearer to viewers) is not painted clearer and brighter than the water and trees far away? Let my feelings flow. Where are the trees, leaves, flowers, and water? Nothing wrong, all still sleep in a dim light and covered with a very thin frost curtain. Is it my corner of peace. "Landscape can be changed depending on your feelings" That is paintings not photos. Art = Emotion. It's a breakthrough.

Nam, I really like the way you made the reflections in the water seem real. I feel relaxed looking at this.

"Who am I?" The small lights are stars on the sky. Look carefully on the eyes of the boy in the picture, I have the feelings of the way I have been gazing up the sky in hope that I will have the answer, but I only received the echo of my question, "Who am I?" All the problems of life on earth days by days still holding me down and the red curtain always in front of me.It is still mysterious as a young boy asking his mother about tomorrow (from a song). That is why I am still gazing up to the sky and ask the same question. The only question have no answer.

"Life- building up" Red for firm concrete blocks, eagerness and ambitions of the young. Blue for visions and success. Not a blue one was at the base. Brown for failures, let them stay at the deepest. Standing on it. White for light or hope. It appeared on the very first day of human beings. Amazing when these blocks are loosely constructed, the feeling of falling apart, but they stand strongly contrary with physics' theory. That's how human evolution is created.

I want to name this picture "No name" Different colors, size and shapes. Dots or not Dots, one or many, moving or not moving. The diversity of dots contain an energy from the reaction of electrons- neutrons and protons, or in a larger scale of human beings, or universe. How about one black dot with some very small specks outside the group? Everything comes from dust and lasts in dust. But it is the real happiness. " After the storm, on the front yard a flower is blooming. "

"A High Flying Balloon", wonderful blue color and the frame at the lower right corner makes me feel it is still flying to the immensity of the universe. Maybe I, a little boy, am standing at this corner. Today each time I saw a balloon flying high in the sky; it always reminds me to the days, around 5 y.o, when a balloon escaping from my hand. Of course, I was crying and watching it until it disappeared while other boys and girls were bursting in joy. However, I felt it was better than finding a deflating balloon under my bed the next day. That feeling appears just in a moment, and replaced with the feelings of wandering as I have been wandering in the world, real or unreal.
