I really like this a lot. It reminds me of a Rorschach ink blot test because of its shaping and contract. I see an army medal for a brave soldier. Really precise details of the four corners.

There is a painting at the Art Institute of Chicago that has a pointillism painting that is about 7 feet by 10 feet in size by George Seurat that is called a Sunday Afternoon at the Island of Grand Jatte Park. It took Secret 2 years to complete the painting. See if your mom can find it for you on the internet. It is really a wonderful work of art. There are dozens of people, from years long ago, walking about in the park with umbrellas and their fancy clothes. Your husky shows that you have a great understanding of this artistic technique. Liam, in your comments you indicated that you would focus more on the edges of the piece because of the absence of paint there. That is a good strategy, but I wanted to say that I like the way you painted it. The different shapes and sizes and the absence of color around the edges gives the piece depth and a layered, textured look. There is no right or wrong when it comes to creativity! Nice job!

Liam this picture is fantastic! The snow capped mountains look three dimensional. What a great technique. Once I saw northern lights here in Libertyville.
