Oh, goody, Alaina ! This might well be the promised picture on which you told us that you had begun work ! I got a teensy glimpse of it, first, by your Grandpa's phone, and was told that there is a bird perched in there -- how fun ! Does your own lovely balance of artwork remind you of visiting the Japanese Tea Garden, at the Fabyan Estate in Batavia ? How relaxing a scene, on my Tablet screen. Thank you for the slow, calm and purposeful setting, w/ wisteria and bamboo. I wonder how many sessions it took you to complete this......or did you keep track ? Maybe your art teacher did. God bless the memory of the French artist, Claude Monet. Have you happened to ever come across the book, LINNEA in Monet's Garden ? I can lend you mine, as 'twas a gift from your Auntie Paula. 'Sorry that I could not underline the title properly. Thanks again for this view ! I love how you Artsonia children reach out and teach us ! Love the touch of the Monet children's row boat. Delightful.

Thanks to Artsonia and your art instructor for your newest creation, Miss Alaina ! I really look forward to seeing your turn at the same age assignments as your sisters. Shall I tell you what came to mind from your optical illusion colors ? How about a watermelon checkerboard game ! And the "shadow" seems formed from a row of all its seeds. I hope that you had fun working out this piece. Do you ever get to listen to quiet music while you sit or stand in class to design your assignment ? I am listening to WFMT while I study your online artwork. Thank you for these pleasurable moments. ? from Gram R.

Well hello, Alaina ! Thank you so much for the cha-cha-cha cheery floral vase scene in my email box today !! Please come by and count the now-blooming, colorful, short, crocus blossoms that regrow below our front living window. I have never tried picking any. BING also showed me a pretty outdoor Spring scene, w/ purple flowers and a patch of snow, a few days ago - did you happen to catch that ? Thanks, again, for your graceful artwork ! ~Love from your Gramma R.

Thank you, Alaina, for this pleasing snow people pose, hand-in-hand, or branch-in-twig friendliness ! Several sidewalk area trees in our neighborhood could use some serious pruning, for such a great snow building purpose ! Grandpa & I have gotten more pokes than we like as we try to stroll past them (the low, reachy, branchy trees, not snow figures) in the darker hours. Well, we can't get hurt by your drawing - yay! Somewhere, I might have one or so left from the happy packet of eight notecards w/ this, your very artwork that I had ordered from Artsonia last, or was it early this, year. Somewhere, I might also have a reminder list of to whom I sent them to cheer.....lists, to refresh my flaking memory.....it (the notecard sendIng and my memory) was fun while it lasted ! Maybe I had used your design as valentines ! Swell, thanks and love, Lanie ! From Granny Lindie

How timely, dear Alaina, your tree of life painting (maybe?) brings to mind family trees, too. Can you imagine meeting by email and connecting w/ potential DNA kinswomen on another continent, like Australia ! All your drawn little musical notes must be an encouragement to everyone else who sees your artwork. Even if or when the song is asking for "Help!" Are you familiar w/ that early "Beatles" band hit tune ? I wonder what types of tunes or instruments or devices you like to hear, or play, or sing, or compose, or plug in, or express ? How do you like this following quotation which I noticed in an Aurora IL, 23 nov 2017, newspaper called "The Voice" ? "Stand still. The trees ahead and bushes beside you are not lost. "Wherever you are is called Here and you must treat it as a powerful stranger." -David Wagoner (who was around 93 years old, when I researched) What do you think any or all that could mean ? Thank you for seeming to say (to me), by sharing your artwork, that in life as in music, you and your sisters and your pet dogs are on a course of choruses. Of course, I'm still pondering who or what is Sap Sofia Ark Addison, if I spelled it right, or how you meant it. A book ? A place ? Hmm, I'll look up somethg like it online another day/night. ?? Alaina, wow ! I think that you have done quite enough of a great silly job in "Up-Mixed Mon-imals An-sters" ! Do I have/get to guess which normal critter each, six or so, of the familiar amimal areas represents ? But, I'd rather not.....staring at the imaginative sight of this cartoon leaves me feeling a little queasy. So, by that measurement, we know you must've drawn & colored (& painted ?) a truly effective job ! Happy new school year, my dear !

Hi, there, Miss Alaina! Here is a little note to let you know that your friendly scarecrow finally had appeared on my Tablet screen, right on my birthdate! It was like getting a card from you! And, it brought cheery memories of one of my own blue-eyed sister's past gifts to me. After several years and too many tears/rips, i decided to hang that fantastic red plastic raincoat amid our garden vegetables. Thank you for your artwork, as its might be worth looking into shopping for an Artsonia quilt square, to clothepin clip or tie into future summer gardens, kinda like prayer flags in other countries. What do you think? -- Gram R.
