Hi Jack, I love your latest creation. It’s so colorful and the shapes are so interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that shape before. Did you create this piece of art on the computer? I also like your dragon. It reminds me of the horned water serpent, or Avanyu, that our friend Dora from San Ildefonso Pueblo puts on the pottery she makes. According to Dora, The Avanyu is a sacred water spirit that brings life and is part of the Tewa people’s Creation of Life story. Love you, YaYa

Hi Jack, I really love your dragon eye. I knew what it was the minute I saw it! I love the way you drew the scales. The way you layered them made me think that’s probably what they would really look like, because a dragon would have to have lots of layers of scales for protection, especially around it’s eyes.
