Wow! Great techniques — looks like person “jumping out” of background. Much detail with eyeglasses, necklace and facial features, especially her eyes. The contrast of styles using “dots” for skin and a red-striped background. Blue and yellow create a contrasting “frame”. The “conversation bubble” fits “pop out art” technique. I also like Pandas. ?? WOW Elise!!!! I saw the star right away. How did you do that? Did you start with the star and then “checkerboard “ looking background? To me it seems that this art piece took much concentration to get the orange and blue colors in the right spaces. Congratulations on another well done art piece.

Elise, a colorful tree frog. It seems to be looking right at me with a smile on its face. The water color wash, tree branch and leaves make for a beautiful setting. What an extremely colorful chameleon. I also like the butterfly. Your chameleon wasn’t going to eat it! Hopefully the butterfly can fly quicker than the chameleon’s tongue. Such wonderful details of the buds on the branch. The little curl of the chameleon’s tail is so realistic. The nice touch of the black and white borders added great contrast for a very colorful art piece. Keep up the fine artistic creations Elise!

Elise, your gumball machine looks so real. It reminds me of the one in your Grandfather's office where you get M & M. Your use of color, light reflection and gumball coming out at the bottom are wonderful. The background and color of the table accents the gumball machine. The cost of 25 cents is certainly more than we paid to get a gumball from the machine when we were growing up. Congratulations on another wonderful art piece!
