That’s a great silhouette of buildings in the city and the lighted windows. Whoever is in those buildings is having a wonderful time watching the fire works in the sky. The fireworks are so sparkly and the colors are beautiful.

This picture is very interesting. The glass of milk is drawn very well and shows you understand how to draw three dimensional shapes! Looks like there’s someone who is very short looking over the edge of the table. And that someone can’t wait to get up on that chair and eat those delicious desserts! That piece of cake looks sooooo good! I’ll bet the cherry gets eaten first!

This indian princess is just beautiful. Love the way you matched her dress and lipstick! She’s beautifully coordinated. Your sunshine in this portrait is so good. The sun’s rays on the bottom are so exactly evenly spaced away from the sun itself. It’s amazing how well that’s done. I like too that no one has to guess who this girl is because you included her feather head dress and the teepees and the papoose. Beautiful job, Kate!

This scarecrow is the BEST! The combination of those jewel tone colors make me so happy. I also like the pumpkins growing behind the fence and the curvy vine that connects them. Looks like that bunny is going after that carrot! Since you did this last year, I know this note is a little late but I couldn’t let it pass by without mentioning your fantabulous scarecrow!!

This castle has to be one of my all-time favorite drawings you've done! You do such beautiful, beautiful work. Even if you didn't know what it was, (which I do) it's still awesome. The colors and shapes and where you've placed them on the page is just fantastic!

i would also love to live in this castle. It seems easier to get to, and incorporates my favorite color. And what a beautiful view behind it!

I love the mixed media in this one! And I think it's fabulous that the everything is not centered - I like that the happy scarecrow is off the the left. It makes me look at the scarecrow first, and then my eye travels around the page to see all the other fun details. The colors are really interesting in this one. I really like the pink sky.

I want to live in this amazing castle. It looks like I might have to travel far to get to it, but it would be worth the journey.

This bird looks worried about her beak, but it is a very nice beak. Her rainbow feathers are spectacular. Is she dressed for a party?

The colors on this one are so vivid! They make me happy. I love the expert use of foreground and background, and the combination of paint and colored pencil creates great texture.

This is so fun and festive! I love the fancy super-tall hat and that it is snowing and sunny at the same time!
