This is a man in motion. The brilliant red background shows a silhouette of a man speaking. Above his open mouth is a distinguished nose, though blunted on the end, and below it is a cleft chin; the deep forehead supports the bushy hair. As he turns his head, we see the full frontal portrait with good utilization of complementary and adjacent colors from the eyebrows to the open mouth. Great artistry by a young student of Picasso. -- Sissie
