The lone evergreen is striking against the grey, blues, and the penumbra in the background. It reminds me of a day at Grouse Mountain or Whistler. Well done!

This is a beautiful and moving painting - you've managed to capture and express such emotion in the cat's face, it's really incredible. And I love the blue shading in the background - love love love the shades of blue!
