W- What a crazy couple of weeks I have had. I love this piece. Such an authentic representation of the artwork for that period but with your own point of view. I think your choice to use the rose/pink pop of color for the head dressing was genius. Very bold, very unique. You struck a great balance between artistic risk and respect for the genre. ?? ??

Weatherly, Your depiction of the Egyptian is so good! As you know, we've visited King Tut's tomb in the Valley of the Kings, and what you have drawn reminds me very much of what is on the walls of the tomb. Congratulations on a fine job! (Remember that you and Trey have at least two books that should be useful in your study of Ancient Egypt. One is in the upstairs bookcase, and the other was on the round table in the living room when we left after Christmas. And keep in mind that Uncle John spent a year in Cairo as a graduate student.
