This made us laugh! Great cartoon. He looks like he's about to jump straight off the table and cause mayhem. A very cheeky character!

This is really interesting James. I love the night shade colours. They are so realistic and so is the climber-very tiny but so detailed it looks like a photo. And the mountain is a complete contrast. Very cold looking. Well done yet again. Nanny and Granda

As well as looking at your artwork, I love reading the comments you make about it. And with this picture you have taken great care to explain how it has been constructed - all to great effect, so I can appreciate the details which I might have otherwise missed, but looking closer I do see how the red and white in the mane has given the main colours greater emphasis and a life like quality. Great job as always James. Granny X

What a great picture, James. You've clearly spent a lot of time working on the detail of this. Your lion looks pretty chilled out - I like his style!

You produce such a variety of work James and this is one of my favourites. The random shapes you have chosen have been arranged in such a way to produce a very interesting symmetrical pattern which is full of colour and detail. The colours are beautiful, so fresh and contrasting, yet complimentary at the same time. Very well done ! Granny xx

I am so envious of you being able to use a 3D printer to make this really cool car! What an experience that must have been. Love the shape, love the colour and love the "personalised plate". Such a good job ! Granny xx

I loved the subtle texture and colours in the letters and the way the large font you've used seems to reflect the large animal and the loud noise he makes. The letters look as if you've used pastry cutters on the picture of the lion - all to a great effect. Well done James, you are doing some really good work which seems to me to be very technical! I laughed at the picture even before I looked at your account of what you'd done! The understatement of the decade? I am very impressed with the the technical skill required to make such an image that your teacher has described, it sounds very complicated. You've obviously appled it and done a great job! Granny X

I think that this is such an impressive picture with lots of impact because of the dramatic colours. On first look all the texture and colour seem part of one picture but I quickly see the gorilla's head laid against the city and the night sky and I love it ! He exudes strength and power yet seems such a gentle giant, gazing out over the sky as if to keep watch over the town, keeping everything safe and calm. You have used a good variety of media in your work James, it's great seeing how it all works out, can't wait to see the next one, well done! Granny x

How observant you have been James ! It would have been so easy to pass by all these everyday objects and patterns without seeing more into them as you have done, so very well done. My favourite is the water fountain, you have taken it from exactly the right angle to get the letter "r" Great choice of the word "soccer" I know how much it means to you ! I'm looking forward to seeing your next piece xx

I love this work James ! You have previously done some fab origami so I'm not surprised your paper aeroplane was so good. I get a feel of texture from the great light and shade you've used, giving it a great 3D effect, so much I think I could reach out and touch it. What I love most is the sense of order and purpose from the clean lines of the design. Well done and keep up the good work !

You have really brought the aeroplane to life in this piece of work James! The perspective is spot on. Very impressive! Well done. Mum x

James, I like your paper aeroplane picture. You have managed to draw a lot of detail and I particularly like the way you have used light and shade to give the picture more depth. I really don't think that plane looks good enough to fly very far though!

Hi James, I also can't wait to see the original. It is certainly a very interesting and detailed piece. For some reason, it reminds me of the top of a shoe with a lace coming down the side. Is that a ferris wheel I see near the bottom? Anyway, well done!

Wow James this is such a beautiful piece of work with so many separate details that make up an impressive whole. I loved your description of how you set about it and dealt with the technical aspects. One of the best things I thought was your conclusion that mistakes can be made into something better, it certainly worked well for you. Well done, can't wait to see the original !
