check out O'Keeffe's "Blue and Green Music" and her "Reflection Seascape". A couple of my favorites and I'd love to see you try something like these. She loved color like you do.

This reminds me of Paul Cezanne but you've got van Gogh colors going on. Kind of post- impressionist. Very cool!
