Every time I look at this art piece I see different things. There are SO many layers. It personifies life. Complex, yet beautiful and to look at it from all angles.

James, I love how you took the dark and light and showed both sides. This is super creative and a talent you showcase well! The Tetris was clever and acts as a nice base to show the metal piece.

James, I would love to hear from you how you came up with this art piece! I tend to see prehistoric shapes in the shadows. Then I see perhaps a snake inside that shadowy figure. Might that be the bony structure? Help me understand, OK? I look forward to seeing your next art work. Perhaps you can email me some answers to my questions about this one.

This piece of art makes me think of new ways of viewing our future. I think of constructions that re-use metals that in the past have been simply dumped in landfills. Today, your generation is breaking new ground in projects that re-use this earth's resources in brilliant new ways. I love to see your artwork, James! I love to talk with you, to think about you, and to explore the immense possibilities that you and your generation will bring to life. You are incredibly talented!

This artistic creation is one of the very best you have done--ever, James! Papa and I ordered a copy of it made into a cutting board for our kitchen. I have it displayed on a shelf where I can see it every day. When I do, I think of you and smile. The colors are bright and attractive. The paper you used to make the waves gives the picture real depth. And the three boats: well, they show incredible detail and enhance the depth even more. It is almost like a three dimentional work.

I see from your art work that Halloween is on your mind for sure! I see in your creation a scary faced pumpkin for a mask, a couple of horns poking out of the pumpkin for ears, a costume that looks to me like a dog peeking out from behind a window made of stained yellow and green glass, and two arms that could also be dog ears. Isn't it grand fun to create what you want? Isn't it too grand fun to look at the creative work of other artists? i LOVE THIS HALLOWEEN ART! Congratulations!
