Oh Anna Cat, I would love for you to design Christmas cards. This one would be my choice. Your proportions and perspective are so good. I can easily see that Mary and baby Jesus are standing outside the barn and manger. And I have no doubt that Mary loves her Holy Child!!! What a sweet picture this is Anna Cat! The flowers are beautiful because God is supplying all their needs with the cloud symbolizing the rain and the sun giving light! That precious animal just might be a llama. He is enjoying the beauty of those flowers and even is bending to get the aroma. That is what I see anyway. And that reminds me to remember that God certainly supplies all our needs too. I think that is probably the message you are sending to those who look at this lovely work you did. Anna Cat this is a thoughtful self portrait. It has a very spiritual feel to it. I see those lovely colors in the corner looking like a beautiful stained glass window in your church. I like the halo effect around your head, the simple necklace you are wearing and your pretty hairband. All of it gives a peaceful effect which is always welcomed. Anna Cat, we really like your art picture. The symbols in your artwork remind me of some of the beautiful things my uncle, Fr. Don, brought back from South America when he was a missionary in Bolivia. The colors you chose are bold and beautiful and the foreground paper looks like real antique bark paper.
