The human hand is one of the most important parts of a person's anatomy. God placed the hand on people for several reasons. The first reason was to extend friendship in a handshake upon men when they first meet. After these two men have met, they walk down a winding trail shadowed by large billowing oak trees. Now, learning to become friends, they begin to scout the area for a large tree to cut to heat their homes; because, they do not live in a time with gas and electricity. Then, you learn the second reason for the human hand that God made-the hand was made to perform work. After scoping the area, with excitement in their eyes, they find just the right tree to cut. Sharing a five foot saw with a handle at each end, the men begin to cut down the chosen tree. This work is hard work and sweat begins to burst out in little beads running down each man's cheeks. The men would like to stop because the work is hard, but they keep on sawing the tree. They know their families will not be able to cook or heat their homes without this firewood; so, they struggle on sawing with love and praising God for hands He has given them to do their work. Third, the men hear and see a huge, black german shepherd dog barking and running toward them. The dog belonged to one of the men. So, Isaac, you know what he did. He reached toward the excited dog and used his hands to pet him. This means God made hands to be used to hug, pet, and many other things that do no harm to others. The fourth thing God man hands for was to defend yourself. A man always wants to live in peace; but, sometimes other men do not know this and want to fight. We want to avoid fighting at all costs if it is possible. Now, Isaac, I leave with the comments of how beautiful and creative your artwork is that you have shared with everyone to appreciate. The hand that reaches for love, companionship, and friendship will be known worldwide. God loves you and smiles with appreciation on how you have used your hands.
