This is a wonderful picture. Your mom made one similar to this when she was in elementary school and it won a prize and put on exhibition for the entire Philadelphia School District to see. I would like to show you the photo of your mom standing next to her picture at the exhibition. I think yours could win a prize , too!

Hi Brynn, Your tropical bird had the most spectacular beak! He is very colorful. Did you learn that male birds are more colorful than female birds? If not, ask your mom, dad, or me, why that is so. Your bird lives in the rainforest. That is a beautiful, warm, place for certain types of animals to live. Remember when we used to do the great big floor puzzle about the colorful frogs that lived in the rainforest? I wonder if your bird would ever see the tree frogs we learned about!

Hi Brynn, Your apples look mighty tasty. I love all the colors. My favorite ones to bake with are green. They are called, "Granny Smith." My favorite ones to eat sliced with the skin on them, or put into a salad, are red ones called, "Fuji." A basket is a good place to store apples. I keep mine in the refrigerator. Where does mommy keep yours? What kind does she buy? Do you have a favorite color apple? Love,

Hi Brynn, Your artwork looks like you used a variety of mediums (markers, paint) to make beautiful sunflowers in a vase. The frame of your picture is in matching polka dots! Poppy walked by as I was writing and said: "Brynn did that? It looks terrific!" Well, that's quite a compliment from Poppy. I would love to have those flowers in our house right now! It would certainly brighten up the inside while it has been gray and raining every day outside!

Hi Brynn, I think this animal looks really cute! Is it a cat? It has all of it's body parts and a face with whiskers! Black cats are often talked about on Halloween. There is a "superstition" about black cats. We'll talk about that big word when I see you!
