Hi Brooke, Nice rendition of a "Panda in suit clay". We like the color scheme and fur texture. We learned a couple of things, too; the meaning of anthropomorphic and about Mr. Panda children's books and how he likes to give out donuts. Thanks for sharing your artwork with us. It always brings a smile to our faces. Love, Uncle Eric and Aunt Sherre

Good day Brooke, There are so many wonderful details to take in looking at this portrait. The details of your techniques; stippling giving subtle highlights, pastel blending, use of space with the swirls, and grid drawing. How did you blend your pastels? We can see the dimension it brings. The colors of the sleeve – everything from Pomp and Power to Thistle to Fairy Tale purples give balance to the purple swirls in the upper top corner. Speaking of the swirls, is this some type of typography or imagery branding of you? We have seen it in other artwork of yours, Cityscape and Elements, and are curious if the swirl is a deconstructed “b” for Brooke? Looking at your portrait, we wonder what your thoughts are; are you doing some introspection, wondering how you did on that last test, looking at candy you want off to the side, or is this the moment before a sinister smile crosses your face as you plot your next prank? Wonderfully done Brooke, we had fun taking this one in. Thank you for your art. We love you, Uncle Eric and Aunt Sherre

Dear Brooke, We love your sweet cotton candy color dragon. No doubt, as it uncoils, it becomes a seriously horrendous beastly dragon with teeth the size of Christmas trees. Love you, Uncle Eric and Aunt Sherre

Hello Brookelynn, We're enjoying your colorful and whimsical "SKILLS" in this artwork. It's like an interactive image where you have to find the gems (stars, planets, faces, flowers...) of the crown throughout the picture. Well done! We love you, Uncle Eric and Aunt Sherre

Hello Brookelynn, Your quote, "Some people say that your eyes have a soul...but do I have?" Wow! This artwork requires some deep thought. Following the spiral in the eye draws us in and leads us to do some introspective thinking. Love it! We love you, Uncle Eric and Aunt Sherre

Hello Brookelynn, We love your football huddle of snowmen. It is exactly how we would picture a huddle of football players - very serious and tough looks with the one optimistic player. The dark striped background really makes the snowmen stand out. Nicely done. Love, Uncle Eric and Aunt Sherre

Oh my...so many snowman expressions. You can build me a snowman at the lake house if you get to spend a little time "up north" before the snow goes away.

Hello Brookelynn, We like the contrast of the bold and timid lines you used to draw yourself. The lines urge us to take a closer look. Even though there is not a smile drawn, we feel that you are happy in the picture and it brings a smile to our faces. Love you, Uncle Eric and Aunt Sherre

Way to go Brookelynn! You got the color wheel right in your artwork, Op-Art Color Wheel, using primary and secondary colors. We like the use of gray to tie the whole piece together and that you got creative with your color wheel by using waving lines to make your circle. We love you, Uncle Eric and Aunt Sherre

Hi Brookelynn, We like your portrait in the dollar bill with its geometric lines and the offset of the dollar bill cutouts making the cutouts bigger on the left and as your eye moves to the other side the cutouts seem to get smaller or are the cutouts the same size and only look smaller because it is offset - it's like an optical illusion. Great job! Love, Uncle Eric and Aunt Sherre
