I like that. The right side of his face shows he has a case of the blues. I like Brendan's work better that the Matisse's original stuff.

I find this work menacing/playful because of the way the blue optical suggestions of the facture contextualize the eloquence of these pieces of the sun and clouds.

I love it! The subaqueous qualities of the negative space endangers the devious simplicity of the eloquence of this piece. It should be added that the metaphorical resonance of the negative space verges on codifying the inherent overspecificity. Great job Brendan!!!!
