This is beautiful, Emerson! I like your use of color, blending and different patterns to show texture in your picture. We need to talk about this one. I'd love to know what inspired it. My favorite part is the moving from pink to blue. I also love the lighter figures in the lower blue. I'm missing you like crazy. I can't wait to get home and spend time together. Love you!

I love it, Emerson! What a great piece with Valentine's Day coming up! It reminds me of my love for you. The depth of the center speaks to me, too. Sometimes when we love someone, we can see into their heart. We see the hurts, the things they've overcome, their strengths, and those things that make them feel loved. I think I missed this one before. I love the night sky. When I was little I used to lay on my back on the farm where I grew up and admire all the stars. I still love to go out on the deck at the farm and look at them late at night. This summer you and I will have to have a star gazing night together. Love you, Grandma.
