Ashley, This is a very interesting piece. It can be interpreted in several different ways. It's very textual; the background is somewhat reflected in the heart; it could be a broken heart, or an inside look at the workings of the heart. I find it very interesting indeed. -- Richard

Ashley, Wow, that is an interesting art work. It looks like you took tissue paper and folded the pieces and curled them into flowered shapes. Then you threw in a second medium to create a stand. And best of all, it WORKS! i like it. Visually interesting. i see the ideas keep coming. Keep up the good work. -- Richard

Ashley, It looks like the highlight of your dog's day is the same as my dog's, lounging around and sleeping. I've never seen your dog in person, but the coloring markers on its fur are very distinctive. I can tell you love this dog because you gave it presence and gentleness. -- Richard

A very interesting presentation. The image kind of looks like an abstract view of the state of Texas. Clever use of rectangular forms. Leaves a lot of room for interpretation. Keep up the good work! -- Richard

Ashley' I like this one. I like the way you incorporated various shapes and lines in the design of the blue with purple flowers flowing along the green angular pathway to the tree with no leaves of fall. Yup, that one's cool. Keep up the good work! -- Richard

Ashley, Your art work is becoming more refined. I like the way you created a multicolored image with blue as a base. You can view it either as a very depressed whale, or , since it is spouting water and has a slight up curl to its lips, as happy about things to come that day. Interesting. -- Richard

Sorry about that Ashley; I thought I had left a comment. Anyway, I like the way your color bands direct the viewers eyes toward the moon. However the plane looks like its in vertical take off, like a rocket. Hmm, maybe you've got something there. NASA is looking for new launch vehicle (I'm not being sarcastic). Please correct if I'm wrong, but in your original description of what the object of the lesson was, I thought the plane was supposed to be purple. Then again, you are the artist. You can create this anyway you wish. keep up the good work. -- Richard

Hi Ashley, You certainly expressed the theme extremely well. If you were to relate to real life, they look like little 9and big) wriggling worms. very good effort. Excellent execution. Poppa Rich -- Richard

That's a great visual presentation of fall. The blue leaves on the tree look like a ghostly representation of the leaves that have fallen about the bottom of the tree. If that was your intention, then you achieved it beautifully. -- Poppa Rich
