I saw this when we attended Guys and Dolls. Really neat to see it in person. I think you captured a favela perfectly. Rough, primitive but a home to many. Loved the colorful stairs. Grammie

Great start to a new school year of art! WE loved the colors and design. Bumpa spied the pencil first but the other images also really say "Emma"--the book, soccer ball, and you on the trampoline. Think this may be one of my all time favorites. Grammie
