This sculpture shows strong organic form with smooth, flowing contours that create a sense of movement. The rich brown tones and subtle variations in color add visual interest through effective use of texture and value. The asymmetrical shape creates balance while still making the piece feel dynamic and natural. Overall, the artist’s use of line and form gives the piece a modern, abstract aesthetic.

This vessel seems to have a very organic form. The body of the vessel evokes feelings of tranquility due to its warm colors. It reminds me of the sun setting.

The vessel presents an organic figure through its irregular, asymmetrical contour that mimics a natural, free-flowing form. The inherent geometry of a slab-built structure is complemented by the rounded sides, as the visible edges and planes are emphasized, creating a sense of angular balance and stability. The proportions of the vessel, with a wider base and gradual tapering towards the top, creates dynamic upward movement, visual interest, and prevents the form from appearing too rigid or uniform.

Your use of mostly organic shapes, without any geometric shapes, in the composition and structure of your design establishes a free-flowing and unpredictable form.

The bright loud colors in this sculpture makes it look like something right out of a comic book.

The textures included on the pot almost make it feel like land and water. The shades of green and brown in the middle look like mountains and land while the texture on the blue parts makes it seem like moving water. I love the way you designed this!

Your inorganic structure has a lot of movement and draws my eye to many different points on your piece. The warm color tones throughout your piece blend together very nicely, and then the pop of blue, a cool toned color really emphasizes the creativity you included.

The commingling of the deep oranges and blues seen in the middle of the pot add an immensely beautiful touch to the vessel. With the choice of the dark blue, the glaze accentuates the texture around the neck and bottom of the structure.

The blue and brown glaze mingle together to create an overlap that ties the colors together well giving the pot a forest and lake scene. The dark spots in the brown looks like the trees while the blues look like the water.

Your coil pot has an asymmetrical pattern and shape, however that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The colors you used compliment each other and it has a heavy contrast from the inside.

The round shape of the vessel along with its rough texture provides attitude. The small lips of the pot contrasts the wide body.
