Hi Ian! I have always loved the Impressionist painters, and your painting of apples in the manner of Paul Cezanne is a very good indeed. Speaking of apples, I went to an apple orchard on my way home from Michele's and bought some Empire apples and cider too - delicious! Keep up the good work - Love, Cindy

Hi Ian! I like this one - it has great colors and I like the idea of using squares inside the "dot". Did you know that your mom's grandma was called Dot? As a matter of fact, she used to sign her name "Grandma." Get it? Keep up the good work - I always love seeing what you do next! Love, Cindy

Ian - I like the colors and contrast with white, gray, and dark brown and the green in your picture. What animal is that up in the tree? I am glad you like art. Keep on painting. Love, Mimi (Susan)

Your picture looks like the night sky - I see lots of stars and constellations. It also looks like a blue print of something that you could build. Either way you look at it - I like it!! Love, Cindy

Ian's picture is nicely composed. The blue and yellow colors are striking. I will see if the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid has some pictures with the same colors. I think Picassowould like it. Mimi

Hi Ian! Wow! Your sculpture is amazing! It looks like some sort of space age bridge over a river, or it could be a ride at Disney World. Whatever it is, I think you used your shapes and colors really well. I hope that you are having fun in school, and getting ready for even more fun when Halloween comes. Love, Cindy

Hi Ian! I love the birds! I also like how you have created clouds in the background. I went for a walk at the beach today, and there were clouds in the sky that looked a lot like the ones you made. Isn't it fun to blend your own colors? I think my favorite bird might just be the purple one. I can't wait to see what you do next! Love, Cindy
