Hello Gavin: This is a very interesting piece of art work. You are learning so much and putting so many different pieces of are into one picture. You are right I wouldn't change anything. I did a watercolor scene with a friend a week ago. I always used oil, than changed to Acrylics. Not sure if I will do more, need some lessons and some time. Just keep keeping on experimenting. I like that you are trying different mediums. I love watching the Mexicans paint as they are so creative with cafdboard, odd shape cups and colors to get what they want. Yes, I agree your colors could be brighter, but it is interesting.

I'd like to see your whole face. You have a lovely smile just like your Grandma Maureen my sister.

You have an amazing portfolio of your art work. I always enjoy looking at it all. They won't let me send a post card as I don't have a USA address. My email has changed ( not allowed to put emails.) Just found your artwork in my emails. Haven't seen any for sometime. Much improved. If you have time to email me personally and tell me about this piece I would be most interested. Understand you are now 10 and think Grade 5 coming 11. Our Great Grand-daughter Kelsey will be 11 December 3rd and is in Grade 6 this year. Hugs from your Great Aunt Linda from Canada. Just looked below at all your art work and comments I made about your great great great grandma being an artist. I can tell you have learnt so much and it all gets stored for future pictures and great experience. This one shows how uniform you can make a picture and yet so different on each side. Very impressive. I always doodle making vases of different shapes trying to keep them the same on both sides. It isn't easy. So glad you are still interested in art keep up the good work. Hugs

Looks like you have been studying birds. That is a good drawing of what you have learnt. We are watching wrens in our yard as they set up house keeping in a bird house. We usually have a pair each spring and do enjoy their singing in the AM. Soon lots of activity will start as they prepare the nest for the eggs and in a month or so we will see them feeding and caring for the hatchlings. Then one day they will fall out of the next learn to fly and be gone till next year. They are very tiny. -- Linda /AUNTIE
